Mary will be demonstrating how to make a quilted rug. We will be making a small mug rug or trivet and you will be able to leave with a completed project and understand how to make a larger rug for your floor. Materials needed: 5 or 6 coordinated strips of fabric, 3" wide by width of fabric, sewing supplies and a machine if you’d like to bring. The special batting used for filling will be provided. This is a great way to use up stash. Mary will be happy to help those who want to continue to work on their project or begin a rug at Golden Hands meetings on Mondays.
