The program for July will be making Honor Flight Lap quilts. Please arrive earlier if you are setting up a machine. Marie will demonstrate how to make a coffee filter block. The supplies

needed will be provided. You will need your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. It is not necessary for everyone to bring their machine. If you can team up with someone (even two or three people) and share a machine that would suffice. Since this block uses scraps, Marie asks that everyone bring some strips of Patriotic fabric to share. Marie will also demonstrate another block that uses squares. The next Honor Flight will take place in October 2026. We will present the lap quilts to Flo from the Honor Flight Program at our September meeting.
