Our meeting will be a workshop practicing the various methods of piecing half square

triangles, or HST's, and exploring the many ways to use them in quilts. All fabrics

needed will be supplied. Bring your basic sewing tools and plan to arrive early enough

to have machines set up with a neutral or light colored thread. Machines can be shared

with 2 or 3 people as well as a small cutting mat for trimming and rotary cutter. Square

rulers that are marked with the 45 degree angle will be helpful. The blocks made during

the workshop will become part of our community service projects. But the skills learned

can be put to good use creating a small quilt for our guild's "20-23" CHALLENGE!
