Linda Cowell will be teaching us how to make this tree.  Linda suggests using a 15" or 18" Styrofoam tree. It is covered in small pieces of wool. Each piece is cut in the shape of a "tongue"  or "U" shape.  Using floss, you will sew a blanket stitch or buttonhole stitch around the edge of the wool.  The finished pieces are then attached to the tree with straight pins.  The rows are staggered and overlap the previous row.  Since the pieces are small, it can be done very quickly.

We would like to begin at 7 PM.  Please arrive earlier so that we can distribute the supplies to each participant.

Sharp scissors for cutting the wool

Sewing needles
