Our August program meeting will again be an in-house quilting

lesson continuing with the variations on the rail fence blocks.

Several members have been practicing their straight-line sewing

skills at the May and June meetings. Some of the Project Linus,

Honor Flight and "Cheery" Quilts have already been completed. On

Wednesday August 24th, we will be "sandwiching" our quilts with a

batting and backing.

Pin basting, stitch basting and spray adhesives will be some of the

topics. But we can get an early start. Any time after 5:30pm to sit

and chat. Bring a sandwich and a beverage so we have something

to eat, and then make our quilt sandwich! Bring a quilt that you

need to layer, or we will have some extras.
