Our next daytime workshops are planned for Thursday, February 27 and Saturday, March 1 at the Matamoras Borough Hall from 10am until 2pm. 

Using a disappearing nine patch technique, volunteers will construct 36 inch square red, white and blue quilts to support the Hudson Valley Honor Flight program that takes veterans to Washington DC.  

 Disappearing nine patch uses:

• 5 inch squares to complete the quilt top.  Each quilt requires:  9 gold ( or light blue), 36 assorted white light colored squares, 18 assorted reds, 18 assorted medium and dark blues. 

• Fabric squares can be exchanged the morning of the workshop for greater variety. 

• Pattern and layout will be supplied along with demonstrations of the technique.
